Erica Schilling

Erica graduated from McGill-Toolen Catholic High School in 2018 where she played from 8th grade through her senior year. Erica was named for the All-State team after she led her team to win a 7A State Championship in 2017. She continued to play volleyball for 2 more years at UAB as a Defensive Specialist before turning her focus towards her education. Erica graduated from UAB in 2022 receiving her Bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics and graduated with her Master’s in Biomedical Engineering in August of 2024 with a focus towards medical devices and biomechanics. She moved back to Baldwin County in January and is currently working as a Patient Care Coordinator at BenchMark Physical Therapy in Fairhope. She hopes to use her degrees to help develop and test or sell implants within the world of orthopedics. Erica previously coached at Oak Mountain High School from 2020-2021 as the JV Assistant Coach and then Varsity Assistant Coach. She also coached at Alabama Juniors Volleyball Club in Birmingham from 2020-2024 with 2 of those years coaching Little Campers. Erica previously played for ESVC during her high school years and is super excited to be part of the family once again!
