Ann Schilling is a Hall of Fame coach who is ranked nationally in career wins with more than 1,700 wins. She has led a team to the state playoffs all 35 years of her coaching career. She currently holds the national record for most consecutive state championships titles as well as the national record for the most state championships titles. A native of Mobile, Ann went from McGill-Toolen to Auburn University where she played basketball for four years, walking on and earning a scholarship by her sophomore year. She stayed a fifth year at Auburn to play volleyball when the program was reinstated. She accepted the position of physical education teacher in basketball and volleyball at Bayside Academy in 1987. Ann studies the game wanting always to learn new ideas and strategies which will help, not only her teams at Bayside, but players who want to play volleyball at all levels. She instills good sportsmanship and the importance of teamwork in her players. She enjoys taking young, relatively unskilled young women and teach them game skills while building their confidence and leadership skills.
Director
While working at the UAB School of Medicine's Department of Family Medicine, Patsy became involved with volleyball as a statistician at Pelham High School. When she retired from UAB volleyball and softball officiating became her "second career." She has risen to the top as one of the state and nations most knowledgeable experts in both sports and one of their most devoted leaders. She has served on the rules committee of the National Federation of High Schools and as AHSAA State Rules Interpreter and State Camp Director for volleyball. Patsy has been the ESVC Club Director since 2017. She is a USAV Junior National Official and has officiated high school volleyball for the past 28 years and was inducted into the Alabama High School Officials Hall of Fame in 2021. She is a past collegiate volleyball and softball official officiating in the SEC, C-USA, OVC, Gulf South, NAIA conferences. Patsy served as the Club Director of the Birmingham Volleyball Club and Southern Region Board from 2000-2005. Patsy was recently elected to serve on the Gulf Coast Region Board. She is dedicated to the training and teaching of volleyball to players, parents, and officials.

Deuce has been with ESVC for 10 years. He has coached age groups ranging from 14 - 18. Deuce is the Head Coach at Jones College in Mississippi. He has also served as the Assistant Coach for the Coastal Alabama SunChiefs for the past 11 years. He played for the University of Southern Mississippi's men's club team as an outside hitter for three years.
Coach
This is Jordan's third season with ESVC and has taken on the head coaching role with our 14 Black team. She is the Director of Business Development at SWS. Jordan studied at Mississippi College and Pensacola State College.
Coach
Lacey is from Fairhope, Al, where she played volleyball before continuing her career at the University of South Alabama. Lacey has been coaching volleyball for 20 years. She has coached various levels of club, and has been the head varsity coach at Foley, Saraland, and Fairhope where she has coached her teams to numerous Regional Tournament appearances and Elite 8 finishes. This is Lacey’s 4th year coaching with ESVC and will be coaching ESVC 13 Black.
Master Skills Coach
Yana Johnson (Ninova) is a native of Vidin, Bulgaria. She was a four year letter winner at the Univ. of North Alabama (UNA) 2000-2003. During her tenure, she earned first team all Gulf Coast Conference recognition, as well as first team American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) South Central Regional honors all four years. Johnson and the UNA Lions won the NCAA II Volleyball Championship. She still holds numerous UNA records, including single-season mark for kills (857), kills per set (6,12) and double figure kill matches (39), as well as career kills per set (4.9). She was inducted in the UNA Hall of Fame in 2014. Johnson has coached throughout the past two decades in numerous capacities including a stint at the Univ. of South Alabama where she was the assistant from 2007-11. She is currently in her third season as the Head Varsity & JV Coach at Central Christian School in Robertsdale.
Coach
Daniel grew up in the Chicago area and played for Sports Performance volleyball club in addition to playing school volleyball. He was a volunteer coach at his middle school and local park district as well. After graduating high school Daniel played club volleyball at Northern Illinios University before relocating to the Mobile area. Daniel is the Head Varsity Volleyball Coach at Fairhope High School. He previously coached the freshman volleyball team at Mary G. Montgomery High School. Daniel is in his 3rd season with ESVC.

Wing returns to ESVC to coach the 15 Black team this year. He coaches volleyball at UMS-Wright. He holds a Masters in Physical Education from the University of South Alabama. Wing is a valuable asset to ESVC with his knowledge and experience in coaching volleyball.
Coach
Julia played volleyball for Bayside Academy and went on to play collegiate ball at Mississippi College where she was named to the Gulf South Conference All-Academic Honor Roll. She earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology with a minor in coaching. She currently serves as the JV Head Volleyball Coach and Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach at Bayside Academy.
Coach
Savannah coaches the freshmen volleyball team at Daphne High School. She played volleyball at Bethel University in Tennessee. Savannah has been involved in club volleyball in the Oxford area as a coach and club director as well as helping with the Donoho volleyball program.
Tony and his family recently moved from the Chicago area to the Eastern Shore area. After playing at Azusa Pacific University, he continued on as a coach for Fusion and Sky High Volleyball Clubs as well as for his alma mater, Cary-Grove High School. Alongside volleyball, he spent the last 20 years building into and impacting youth ministries and programs with a passion to see youth become the best versions of themselves as athletes, students, and young leaders. Tony is beyond excited for his first year at ESVC!
Alison is from Daphne, AL where she played volleyball for Bayside Academy, winning three state championships. She is returning to coach the ESVC 12 Black team after coaching school ball for three seasons at Christ the King and St Michael.
Shealynn was born and raised in St. Charles, IL and played volleyball for Club Fusion, winning an AAU National Championship in 2013.. She continued her volleyball career as a middle blocker at Coker College before transferring to High Point University, where she contributed as a volunteer coach during the team’s Big South Championships runs in 2016 and 2017. After graduating, Miller coached at Carolina University, winning a 2019 Regional Championship. She later transitioned into a leadership role at Piedmont Volleyball Club in Greensboro, NC where she assisted administratively, led middle blocker position training, and coached multiple 16U and 17U teams. Shealynn is currently the Chief of Staff and Associate Director of Athletics at the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, AL.
Brooke is from Mobile, AL where she played at Alma Bryant High School earning 2 all county awards during her Junior & Senior years. She went on to play for the University of Pikeville in Eastern Kentucky where she met her husband who played baseball for Upike. She started coaching at LAV for two seasons and moved to the eastern shore where she coached at St. Michael and is now the Head Coach at Bayshore Christian School where she led the team to a state appearance during the 2023-24 season. This will be Brooke's 4th year coaching at ESVC.
